HOW DO I BOOK?
Complete the booking request form or contact us direct. You may fax +64-3-441
8899 or telephone +64-25 2888 651, or e-mail
tours@boarderzone.com
DO I NEED TO GIVE A DEPOSIT?
Yes - a NZ$100 deposit confirms your booking and also
indicates the acceptance of the conditions under which the holiday is set. If the desirable dates
required are unavailable, your deposit will be refunded in full. We do not refund your
deposit if you should cancel your travel arrangements.
WHEN SHOULD I PAY THE BALANCE?
Final payment of the entire holiday should reach New
Zealand Snowboard Tours no later than 28 days prior to departure, or if you have
made a late booking, immediately. If you have made a booking through an agent, they must pass
on payments before we can issue documentation. New Zealand Snowboard Tours will not
take responsibility of payments to travel agents by a client until New Zealand Snowboard Tours
receives the above mentioned payments.
WHAT IF I SHOULD CANCEL?
Cancellations 28 days or more prior to departure will incur a
NZ$50 cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled within 28 days will incur additional charges as
levied by accommodation or service operators. Travel insurance taken out by the client at the
time of payment may have 'A Loss of Deposits' feature.
WHAT IF I DO NOT USE A PORTION OF MY HOLIDAY?
Refunds of unused portions are not usually
given. We will, however, consider extenuating circumstances. Remember, unused lift passes are
redeemable for credit or cash only in our Queenstown Office, or by applying in writing.
WHAT IF THERE IS LIMITED SNOW WHEN I ARRIVE?
As the Southern Alps of New Zealand have a whole
lot more to offer than 50cm of powder every day, we are confident that our clients will have an
awesome holiday even if the snow conditions are not perfect. The last few seasons have been
fantastic - some days we had too much snow! New Zealand Snowboard Tours have made the
packages as flexible as possible so you can make the most of your holiday no matter what the
weather. In the unlikely event of limited snow, cancellation, amendment or alteration due to
weather and/or snow conditions is not permitted once your holiday has commenced. Feel free to
contact us prior to your holiday and we will gladly offer a full and concise snow report.
SHOULD I TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE?
We would recommend that you do. If you take out a
policy as you are booking and paying for your holiday, it may cover you for such things as
loss of deposits, sickness, loss of personal effects and other features. Your Travel Agent
will be able to advise you.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
No, there are no hidden costs. Whilst on your holiday you will
have to pay for all meals, (except Escorted Safaris), alcohol, lessons and local sightseeing
or adventure trips that you may wish to take part in.
WHEN DO YOUR HOLIDAYS OPERATE?
From 20 May to 25 October 1998
WHAT IF I AM NOT SURE ABOUT OR UNHAPPY WITH AN ASPECT OF MY HOLIDAY?
Please advise us right
away so we can attempt to alleviate the situation. As your hosts we are available 24 hours,
it's OK to call if you wish to clarify or talk to us regarding your holiday.
