Todays Slalom event was held in less than ideal conditions with thick cloud in and out all day. The lack of visibility certainly didn't put a damper on some wild head to head racing. Top Kiwis were again determined to stand up to the European Pros & Top Japanese Slalom specialists. Two top contenders Chris Vile & Thomas Jones pulled out all stops in the first run to either do or die, Unfortunately both crashed leaving the national Title to Mark Begg who performed well over both runs.
In the womens once again it was Pam Bell showing her form in what is so far a clean sweep.
