Over 70 school students participated in a truly challenging boarder X and an exciting head to head dual slalom. The competition for the top places was fierce. In the girls division, the team from Mt. Aspiring College came out the winners helped by good performances from Haidee Mayen and Karen Hanson. The mixed teams category was won by Wakatipu High School.

The boys team event was taken out by Wakatipu High School with Sam Deavoll, Barnaby Newtown and Matt King leading the charge. Close behind in second place was Aspiring College with Wakatipus #2 coming in third. Two notable individual performances were Tim Whyte of Logan Park High School and Barnaby Newton of wakatipu. Tim won the boarder X while Barnaby proved ynbeatable in the dual slalom.
