The event has drawn a lot of intrest with record numbers of both local and visiting snowboarders entering. Today saw 30 women and close to 70 men competing on an extremely hard and fast course with a good showing of spectators.

The Format:
Six riders start at once and its knockout style, first across the line advances. All riders get at least 2 runs.

The Course:
The event is held off the Greengates Triple Chair,
It utilizes the unique terrain of this part of the mountain winding through the natural pipes and bowls with big banked turns set with the gates.
