| The team has been unreal, great kids who spent 2 weeks
living in each others faces, and getting on and looking after each other. As parents we are so proud of our kids and the major achievement they have made! |

So on a more serious note NOT , The comps are all but over,, the juniors compete tomorrow in the BX, hoping for results from our top Boys, The closing ceremony was
held tonight, a bit back to front due to lay day, but when in Rome. The team leaves here tomorrow night to head to Venice, for 12 hours sleep over, and hopefully get the
team to Saint Marco Square for a look and Mac Attack, . Then onto LAX for a Disneyland hit and a big relax. The team has been unreal, great kids who spent 2 weeks
living in each others faces, and getting on and looking after each other. As parents we are so proud of our kids and the major achievement they have made here amongst
so many countries who spend there life on the snow.
A major thank you has to go to Richard Woorlee for a unpaid big job as team manager, for looking after all of the teams welfare, many hours of computer time, and missing
out on the sights of Italy` forsaken for the team. Buy him a drink when you meet him. For Steve and Suzy go coaches, these 2 rocked kept the teams heads together,
thru bad snow, good snow, avalanches, and too much italian food. They
are both winners, and we are lucky to have had them in our Team. Last but not least
Cameron our Cameraman McGrath, what a bloke, even if he is an Aussie, sat for hours in a halfpipe blizzard, had his camera out, whenever a action was happening,
and never stopped smiling. For an Aussie , he RULES.
So we sign off from Italy, If you ever have the bucks, come to Sappada, the mountains are mean, the snow, even in Spring is great, the people, food and wine, are an
experience worth a year of hard work to lax out in.
On a final note, 31/3/2001 the New Zealand Junior Snowboard Team, sends their sympathy to the family of Paddy Burton, Our thoughts are with them.
