Todays Giant Slalom event was held in near perfect conditions with a record turnout of 130 racers. The course was extremely fast and proved to be a battle ground between top European Pros and the best Kiwi riders. Local rider Marc Begg was the shock of the day giving the Euros a real run for their money and placing 2nd.
