What the hell is Quest Anyway???
After eight years of operating individually as B.O.A
and Totally Board. Store owners Anthony Jones and Russell
Reddell have decided to combine forces to create New
Zealand's premier snowboard shop. A brand new location
on Shotover St - look for the Quest Cube you cant miss
it- has added a whole new vitality to retailing in Queenstown.
What better way to celebrate the new store and the great
start to winter than a huge party featuring the premiere
of "The Focus". A Japanese produced video shot last
season in the Southern Lakes region and featuring many
of the Quest Team Riders. Appearing both on the video
and cutting loose at the party were top Kiwi riders..Dylan
Butt, Deni Bevin, Glenn Howe, Glen Legget and Steve
Ferguson.
Event supported by Gifted- NZ's latest skate/snow label
-supplying a good wack of stash. www.gifted.net DJ Downtown Brown spinning the decks to a sell out crowd.
The Kiwi season is now in full swing and super evident
here in Queenstown is the global gathering that's taken
place. Riders from Japan, Europe, North America and
a huge contingent of English mix it with locals all
vibing on the snowboard buzz. The snow may not be that
flash at the moment but in a gathering of boarders this
big you can't dampen the party , the tales of travels,
adventures and riding to be down all come pouring out.
It's all damn good!

| But one thing is for sure. The Local hill,
Coronet Peak, seemed to be unusually quite this morning.
I guess a lot of hung over boarders. Bring on the next
party! |
