Today was the 8th round of this famous weekly competition.

Thank god the weather has come right and we were treated to an awesome day up on the Peak.

Already the word has spread and we are seen top riders from Wanaka and Mt. Hutt making the trek up to Coronet to rumble on the Boarder X track..

Course designers this week proved what they can do with the new snow and the increased terrain available.They built an awesome--very challenging series of jumps that saw most riders spending more time in the air than on the snow...

The Course:
The event is held off the Greengates Triple Chair,
Week one, due to a lack of snow off trail,was run on an extremely creative short course on the "Tuck trail"
Although short, the course proved very challenging and as the first real N.Z series, it is a perfect start for what is shaping up to be an intense comp...
