Location - North East Victoria - Gourmet Food & Wine Country.Driving - By road, Falls Creek is the closest alpine resort to Brisbane, an easy days drive from Sydney and 41/2 hours from Melbourne. The road to Falls Creek is safe and cleared of snow daily, chains are rarely fitted. Carrying chains, however, is compulsory and can be hired at Ski Shops in Melbourne or Mt Beauty.
Drive and Coach - Park your car at Pyle's Coach terminal in Mt Beauty at the base of Falls Creek and relax in comfort as you travel up to the resort in luxury coach. Contact Pyle's Coaches for details (03) 5754 4024.
Train and Coach - Take the train from Melbourne to Albury (or Sydney to Albury) and board a connecting Pyle's Coach service.
Coach - Relax in comfort aboard a Pyle's Coach from Melbourne, Albury or Mount Beauty.
Fly and Coach - Fly into Albury Airport with Qantas Link and board a connecting Pyle's coach service to Falls Creek. Qantas link offers direct flights from Sydney to Albury and connecting flights from all other major centres.

PERISHER BLUE, NSW, AUSTRALIA
Location - Southern NSW, Snowy Mountains High CountryDriving - Perisher Blue is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma or 7 hours from Melbourne with more than half the distance on freeway standard or dual carriage roads. Motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD's in a "snow-ice" risk section within the National Park. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather. Kosciusko Road accesses Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega from Jindabyne.
Air and Road – Fly into Cooma airport in one hour either Sydney. See www.rex.com.au for flight times and costs. Perisher Blue is then a nice 1 hr shuttle ride from Cooma airport.
