Boarder X--Video Footage, Download the Free Player Below BURTON INVITATIONAL DEMO JAM , CORONET PEAK
What do you get when you mix together some high class ingredients such as:

1 full measure of the Burton NZ Family of rippers
2 sweetly prepared booters, 1 medium size, 1 mondo size
2 dozen of NZ's best assorted snowboarders
1 full bag of Vodafone swag
1 DJ Downtown Brown, with tasty aural treats.
1 hot BBQ, with BOA posse at the helm
Liberal serving of free RED board tunes by The Snowboard Workshop
Full serve of Burton 2000 Board and Binding Demo Range
Iced with Fresh Snow, sprinkles of sunshine and unlimited goodvibes

Well, we will tell you.....A Sweet Days Riding! No judging, no bibs, no stress and no worries. All of these ingredients were brought together to show those who were watching and riding what much of the stoke of riding is all about; A bunch of people enjoying a chance to play in the mountains!

"to allow riders to showcase the sport without any constraints or set formats, allowing the riders to fully express themselves through the best means they know how.......just let them RIDE!"

With the pressure off and the tunes pumping, the assembled crew proceeded to work their way up from some warm-up runs, to throwing down some super styling moves off the large booter (especially prepared by Deni Bevin and the Coronet Terrain Team for the event). Luca Soulos guest MC'd, keeping the amp on and the crowd dialled in to the action. The show featured a 3 hour jam session which included everyone from young rippers like Mitch Brown, a solid female representation with the girls working up to the big hit confidently, and the lofty antics of the lads. Even the jib crew got in there, and a rail session was on for a while as the demo rolled on. With Vodafone giveaways flowing, Sausies sizzling, Hot waxes melting and the sun appearing between snow flurries, the vibe was keeping all involved on a high.

Keep an eye out for more of the Burton/Vodafone Invitational Demo Jams (with the next one @ Whakapapa on 23rd September), as these events will continue to allow riders to showcase the sport without any constraints or set formats, allowing the riders to fully express themselves through the best means they know how.......just let them RIDE!
